Todd began practicing law in 1993 and has proven himself as an experienced trial attorney and counselor devoting much of his earlier career to commercial disputes, insurance coverage and defense, construction law, tort litigation, and governmental law.

He has extensive trial and litigation experience in both federal and state courts across Michigan and assists out-of-state law firms and their clients with intricacies of practicing law in Michigan.

Todd is also an accomplished mediator having mediated disputes both in litigation and before litigation its instituted, across Michigan for over 15 years. More recently, Todd assists the firm's estate planning clients by providing advice and assistance in obtaining Medicaid benefits while preserving family assets. He is also certified by the VA to assist veterans with applications for benefits and representing veterans before the VA.

Todd has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1993 from Indiana University, Bloomington. He and his wife Allison have one son, Mitchell.
